what we do (and don't) with your data.

What we collect
amigo stores the minimum needed to run a friends leaderboard: your device code(s), optional initials (up to 3 characters), the friend codes you add on your watch, and your daily steps, miles, and active calories. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or location.
How it's used
Your stats power your own history, your friends leaderboard, and the anonymous world leaderboard (which only ever shows initials and a value — never your code). Friend codes are used only to look up the stats of people you've explicitly added.
Who can see what
Only people who have your code can see your stats (that's how the leaderboard works — the code is the whole access control). The world leaderboard shows initials, not codes, and can't be used to identify you or contact you.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres) and served through our API on Vercel. We don't sell data, run ads, or use third-party trackers or analytics.
Your controls
You can stop syncing at any time by removing the watch face. Because a code isn't tied to any personal identity, there's no separate account to delete — removing the app stops all future syncs.
